Completed studies in Art History and Philosophy (Magister Artium, University of Leipzig) and Fine Arts (Diploma, Academy of Fine Arts Leipzig). And still a working class child.

Exhibitions and projects in Germany, England, Poland, Italy, Switzerland, France, South Korea, Romania and Austria.
Research and teaching on pop culture phenomena and the theory and history of artistic media, especially time-based film and video art, self-recursivity and cultural heritage.

Active in independent artistic projects, as a curator and as a freelance artist and philosopher. Practical teaching experience at universities and in the public service; Publications in exhibition catalogs, artist books and magazines; Collaborations with curatorial teams and institutions.
